Immigration vows faster processing of travel documents

Good news to every travelers and OFWs, Bureau of Immigration (BI) found a solution to what seemed like a life long hassle everytime you line up the immigration counters at the airports. December of this year, they will be adding 200 workforce to man each counters and rotational schedules and apart from that, passport scanner machines will be arriving to aid faster processing.

According to Bureau of Immigration Commisioner Siegred Mison it usually takes an average of 2-3 minutes processing per passenger and BI officers need to manually enter all needed details in the system where as if they will be using this new machines, it will only take around 45 seconds per passenger.
