Dubai building on Fire: Filipinos affected

Dubai, United Arab Emirates- Monday, November 23, 2015, Al Shamsi Building in Deira, Dubai, was caught on a massive fire. Most of the residents of the said building were Filipinos who have lost all their possessions including their important documents and passports.

The Philippine Consulate is already on the move to help the affected Filipinos where are are urging all the fire victims to register to determine the type of help they need. For more information, please call Ron Napao at +971565015755 or +971565015756.

Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes along with Deputy-Consul General Giovanni Palec and other consul officials already coordinated with the Dubai Police’s Human Rights section.

The burnt building was said to be not insured and has left the owner, residents and office owners losses in millions.
