Manila- Bureau of Customs data encoder Roussel Tan, became the latest trend in social media due to a post on her Facebook account about the ongoing issue with the OFWs vs BOC. Tan posted a status in defense of the BOC however, it sparked a lot of negative reactions to netizens. Someone took advantage of the heated situation and created a page with her name and has been posting negative comments towards OFWs and now receiving various threats against her and family. There were even fake reports saying she was killed inside her car. Tan reported this case to the NBI Cyber Crime Division for investigation.
