Pinoy’s Pride Pagaras’ Brothers in Dubai August 7,2015

MANILA, Philippines – Boxing brothers Jason and Albert Pagara are both raring to win their matches in the upcoming “Duel in Dubai” on August 7, knowing that a victory against their Mexican opponents will lead to bigger things for their careers.

Jason will fight in the co-main event where he will face off against Ramiro Alcarez, while the younger Albert will headline the event against Jesus “Chito” Rios.

072915_pagaraAccording to the Pagara brothers, if they put on good performances in next Friday’s event at the World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates, they will then fight in a card in the United States later this year, possibly in October.

“Pag maganda ‘yung showing ko sa Dubai, meron naman kaming laban sa U.S,” Jason said, adding that he has no opponent yet for the October fight date.

While Jason is excited for the chance to fight in the United States, “Prince” Albert is looking forward to so much more.

“May sabi sa akin na ‘pag maganda ang laban ko ngayon, isang fight na lang para maging world champion,” said the 21-year-old Pagara, who is unbeaten in 23 fights with 16 wins by knockout.

“Lalaban ako sa US ng WBO international, pagkatapos world (title fight) na,” he added.

Knowing that he is inching closer to a world title shot is firing Albert up ahead of his showdown with the Mexican Rios.

“Gusto ko makuha ‘yung panalo ngayon sa Dubai, para kaunti na lang, isa na lang para maka-world champion,” he said.

Nevertheless, the ever-confident “Prince” makes it clear that as early as now, he believes he can fight at the highest level.

“Kahit ngayon, lalaban. Okay na, one hundred percent lalaban para sa world championship,” he said.
