US Pinoy claims manager urinated on him, called him ‘monkey’

By: ABS-CBN North America News Bureau | 06/02/2015

REDWOOD CITY, California – The Equal Opportunity Commission is suing an oil service company for discriminating against a Filipino worker in Williston, North Dakota.

The EOC also alleges that the oil service company American Casing & Equipment fired Pinoy worker Matthew Clark in retaliation for his complaints about the harassment.

According to a complaint, a white manager had been calling Clark racial slurs like “spic,” “monkey,” and the “N” word while jabbing his finger into Clark’s stomach and chest.

Clark also claims that the manager urinated on his legs while he was working under a truck sometime in July 2013.

Clark is seeking back pay, as well as compensation for future losses resulting from unlawful employment practices.
